Locating Your HPI-I Number
Healthcare Provider Identifier-Individual (HPI-I) - for healthcare providers. This unique number is allocated by Medicare and differs from the national registration number issued by AHPRA.
Option 1:
Access PRODA and select 'link identifiers' on the HPOS tile (as shown on the right). Enter your AHPRA registration number in the designated field and proceed by clicking 'search'. In case you've misplaced your AHPRA registration number, it can be retrieved here .
Option 2:
If you're aware of your AHPRA User ID, simply append 800361 to the beginning of the ID. This combined number is your HPI-I number. Please note: Your user ID is the number used for logging into your AHPRA account, distinct from your registration number.
Option 3:
Contact AHPRA at 1300 419 495, available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (local time).
Option 4:
Contact the HI Service enquiry line at 1300 361 457, operating Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (local time), and request your HPI-I number.
