Welcome to Prime Script Pad! Before proceeding with the Prime Script Pad sign-up, follow this onboarding guide to obtain all required information

Part 1: Establish your organization within Prime Script Pad

The HPI-O (Healthcare Provider Identifier - Organisation) is a distinct identifier for your organization within the Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service. This enables electronic prescribing through your organization.

  • If you possess your HPI-O number, keep it accessible during the sign-up process.
  • In case you cannot locate your HPI-O number, kindly get in touch with your Practice Manager or refer to the provided instructions for assistance.

If your organization does not possess an HPI-O number, it will be necessary to register your organization as a seed organization on PRODA. Access instructions on how to proceed by clicking Here .

To initiate prescribing with Prime Script Pad, it's necessary to associate our contracted service provider (CSP number) with your organization in PRODA.

  • Prime Script Pad unique CSP number is 123456789.
  • If you possess PRODA access, you can link Prime Script Pad CSP number to your organization within PRODA HPOS by entering the given CSP number.
  • In case you lack PRODA access, kindly contact your Practice Manager or Administrator and furnish them with Prime Script Pad CSP number.

Part 2: Establish your prescriber profile in Prime Script Pad

The HPI-I is a distinct identification number within the HI Service, essential for individual clinicians enabling electronic prescriptions.

  • If you're unable to locate your HPI-I number, refer to this link for instructions.

eRx serves as the national electronic prescriptions exchange service. As Prime Script seamlessly integrates with eRx, every prescriber must acquire a new eRx Entity ID specifically from eRx. Existing eRx Entity IDs registered with other software providers cannot be used. Upon registration completion, kindly check your email inbox for your designated eRx Entity ID.
